About Us

Pixia Wedding Photography is based in Newton, Massachusetts.  Dan O'Connor and Maren Coniglione are the husband and wife,  photographers and co-owners of Pixia Photography.  They photograph weddings in the Boston and Cape Cod regions, plus New England, New York and beyond.

Pixia Photography loves wedding celebrations and the people they bring together.  We aim to capture all the wonderful moments from the big kiss and nuptuals to the unexpected little moments, all in our candid style with a photo-journalistic feel.  We work with all of our couples and clients to establish a working relationship that insures the highest quality photographs of your wedding or special event.

Dan O'Connor began his photography career as a college student. He recieved his Master of Arts degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art and is a professor of photography at the New England Institute of Art. His artwork has been exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art (Mass MoCA), the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art and the Galerie Jaroslav Fragner in Prague, CZ.

Maren Coniglione received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Photography from Bennington College and is an Alum of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts YoungArts program. She currently exhibits her work in the Dorchester Open Studios.  She has taught photography to resettled refugee youth in San Diego and to young women in Boston and art to elementary school students in Dorchester.
